On the occasion of the Milano Design Week 2026, UniFor—one of the most respected Italian design brands—launched MTM (Made To Measure), a furniture collection designed by the internationally acclaimed Swiss architecture practice Herzog & de Meuron.
The collection distinguishes itself for two main features—the 12-degree slanting of all legs in the solid timber structural frames and the lining of all upholstered elements made of a very thin cork fabric.
A further element characterising the collection is the preciousness of the materials—the structures are available in natural oak or steel with a polished mirror finish, while the inserts of the tabletops are made in Lepanto red marble, travertine, coloured glass, or mahogany.

The collection was presented at Spazio UniFor showroom in the Feltrinelli Porta Volta building in Milan, both also designed by Herzog & de Meuron.
The installation, conceived by Studio Klass and titled Non Places, was characterised by the use of a red-coloured sand, specially mixed by artist Natália Trejbalová and already featured in the shooting of the collection.

The catalogue stands out for its coherence and elegance, as well as for the extraordinary sophistication expressed through meticulous craftsmanship and precious finishes.
The cover, lined with a Japanese paper by Takeo, has been punched with a central debossing to accomodate an insert made of a textured paper by Favini, printed in four colours and featuring a title hot-stamped with a white foil. While the trademarks on both cover and back-cover are hot-stamped in debossing with a transparent glossy foil, thus creating an interesting three-dimensional, architectural effect.

The first 4 and last 12 pages are made of a light uncoated paper, also by Fedrigoni. On the frontispiece, the trademark was printed with a sixth ink—a dedicated UniFor Red Pantone—overprinted with a high-build gloss UV silkscreen varnish.
Both the edges of the pages as well as those of the cover insert are painted with a custom made ink, specially prepared to match the colour of the cover paper, so to create visual continuity throughout all sides and edges.
The catalogue was finally hand-bound in a Bodoni-style bounding, uncommonly featuring the spine covered with paper and featuring a red thread to keep the pages together.

The catalogue, which actually consists of just a few pages, represents an example of quality, consistency, and elegance in both editorial design and craftsmanship, thus enhancing the value of the contents through the beauty of the form.
